Good idea to write about this.

You should add another type of property: serviced apartments/flats. Abroad, such complex is called a Condomium (short: condo) Although all complexes will have syndic, these types are different from ordinary flats in that they will always provide the following facilities:

- 24/7 security guards to open/close gate, ensure only validated persons (by owners) get in
- Generator: so you always have essential electricity
- Ballroom/conference room to host your parties
- Lifts
- Some may offer extras like gym, pool, car cleaning, garden, garbage chute, cleaning of common areas...
- Usually in good locations

Ordinary/low end flats will also have a Syndic. But rarely other facilities except water tank and a central spot to keep garbage.

After living in Built-your-own house on your land, I tried renting in the above. And I love it. The convenience is worth the extra costs: no longer having to open your gate when you get out... whether it's raining or not, it makes no difference since the lift goes right to the covered parking... or having electricity when there's a cyclone... no climbing stairs... I drop garbage bags in a chute and that's it, no need to clean bin/wait for garbage lorry...

Notary fees depend on the value of the property according to Lexpress Property:

2% on the first Rs 250 000.

1.5% on the next Rs 500 000.

1% on the next Rs 1 000 000.

0.5 % on the remaining sum

On the loan application form, you need to mention the number of years you are currently employed. As for the ISP form I mentioned, it is somewhat a commitment of the employer to make sure that he continues to send the salary to your account number in that same bank.

Now, to reply to the second and most interesting part of your comment :
When I applied for the loan, I had already submitted my resignation to my employer (at that time). And a month later, I was in a new company while loan was not yet approved. It was a constant stress because of this factor but fortunately, I did not get any issue. I heard that sometimes, they even have a look whether or not your salary was recently credited to make sure that you are still employed.

My decision to take a loan was complete unexpected but if you know that you will go through this soon, better do the application while you are still employed at your current company. This will avoid you loads of anxiety...

To sum up all answers to your question : I think it depends from bank to bank and also, on your profile as the bank customer as they definitely go through your account history. It is like going in a job interview.

Interesting. I haven't seen anyone blogging about this before. I will need to go through all these procedures soon and definitely this article gives me an idea of what to expect.

Quick question. For a loan to get approved, will the bank confirm if you are a confirmed employee with respect to the employer? What if you are still in probation period?

What happens if you are in the middle of the application and you decide to move to another company?

Thanks very much for the feedback. There's another shipping company (a bit less known but used by indian web sites I think) in Mauritius that overcharges you once your item is ready for delivert in Mauritius.
In general, USPS is reliable for shipping (and use international mail express for quick shippings).

Used UPS for a $90 item.
Time taken to reach Plaisance from China: 2 days
Time taken to be delivered : almost a week since it reached Mauritius still waiting.
Charges to be paid: yes there are hidden charges that wasn't mentioned when I ordered it. velogic who deals with ups items here in Mauritius is claiming 1250rs+ vat for their own fees. Import duty was Rs0.

Avoid at all cost.

When I was on SiteGround, they offered letsencrypt too and the renewal was automatic too. There are quite a few things that namecheap can do better to get a large number of potential clients

I ran into the same problem: excessively high renewal fees. I ended up going to greengeeks. At $48 a year, it's more expensive than your $30 but there are not hidden costs and you get the full list of goodies.

i got my card a few weeks ago but i do not know how to use it. i have a few questions
how will i know the account number for the card, i mean i already have a sbm union card but i don't know if it is link or not. shall i use the account number for my sbm union card? if i use it , will my money on my union card be deducted?
also i read that the balance can be checked through an atm machine displaying the visa logo however when i tried checking my balance the atm machine didnt accept the card.Besides, there is no golden chip in the smile visa card like any other bank cards.My last question is can the sbm smile card be used to pay groceries in a supermarket or a restaurant bill?PLEASE HELP ME
